However, I have also included some affordable Internet plans that suit households with lower incomes.

#1 AT&T Access

AT&T Access is an excellent option for low-income households that want a high-speed internet connection without installation costs, equipment fees, deposits, or annual contracts. You can either get a 100 Mbps connection for $30 per month, or if you are eligible, you can opt for a higher-speed connection of 300 Mbps, saving $20 per month. If you live in an area with ample AT&T coverage, you can check if this is a viable option for you, such as the Xtream Connect option from Mediacom. You can qualify for this affordable plan if you are already benefiting from programs like Medicaid, NSLP, SNAP, or TANF.

#2 Xfinity Internet Essentials

Xfinity Internet Essential is another option worth considering. Just like Mediacom’s programs, this also gives you access to fast internet speeds for just $14.95 per month. If you are already participating in programs like NLSP, Medicaid, or SNAP, you can qualify for this program and get an internet connection with a speed of 75 Mbps. However, you should not be an existing Xfinity customer or have any outstanding amount within your Comcast accounts.
